Timothy P. Hulla graduated from St. Louis University with a B.A. in biology. He earned his J.D. degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1989. His legal career started with a firm in Granite City, Illinois where he first practiced in the area of asbestos personal injury litigation. After passing the Missouri bar exam, Tim accepted a position as an Assistant Circuit Attorney (prosecutor) in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the lead prosecutor in 40 jury trials, including 5 murder trials, with most of those juries returning guilty verdicts.

In 1996, Tim returned to civil litigation. Since then, he has practiced law with three firms before The Law Offices of Michael R. Bilbrey, P.C. Much of this work has been in asbestos personal injury litigation, with some general litigation practice. He has experience in asbestos litigation, spanning the changes from the first wave of traditional defendants to the current landscape following the choice of many corporations to seek the protection of bankruptcy.
